Geoliners system uses a woven geotextile that is formed into a tube like shape.  The tube diameter and length may be determined by project requirements. The tube is filled by direct coupling to hydraulic or diaphram pumps, a vacuum truck or when using a dredge connects directly to the pump discharge line. 
Designed with appropriately sized opening in the geotextile fabric for filling, the geosynthetic tube retains the solid material while allowing water to permeate through the tube wall. geosynthetic tubes permanently trap granular material along with sludge's.
